Synergy/DE 9.5

Getting Started with Synergy .NET

To learn more about Synergy .NET, we recommend that you:

  • Review the “Developing for the .NET Framework” chapter of the Getting Started with Synergy/DE online manual.

  • Get into Visual Studio and start creating or migrating code.
    • Migrate some of your existing code.
    • Create new .NET code—maybe a small WPF application?!
    • Check out CodeExchange—we’ve created Synergy .NET versions of all the code entries that have been submitted by our Professional Services team, and we’ve provided Visual Studio projects for them. You can pull some of these into Visual Studio and see how they work there. Be sure to check out the PSG blog about this.
    • Check out our “C# to Synergy Code Converter” on the Tools menu in Visual Studio. Find some C# code examples in MSDN or on the Web and run them through the converter to give you some quick Synergy .NET sample code.
  • Let our Professional Services Group help you get started. Our consultants can quickly get you up to speed on all the new options available to you and give you a jump-start on your first Synergy .NET project. Just contact your Synergy/DE account manager for more information.

Testimonials
“I like the ability to use .NET Assemblies seamlessly in Synergy code. I also like that now I can work in our C# projects and our Synergy projects in the same solution and reference one another. …And the SELECT class made a remarkable difference getting data for reports.”
