Overview

This roadmap defines the technologies that Synergex plans to deliver to its Synergy/DE customer base.

Incremental Enhancements

Synergex will continue to provide incremental enhancements to existing Synergy/DE products, enabling Synergy developers to work more productively and to add new capabilities to their Synergy applications.

New Technologies

Synergex will introduce new technologies, enabling Synergy applications to continue to evolve with the industry. We will also deliver support for Microsoft .NET, Microsoft's platform for Windows and Web development. This project will deliver support for Microsoft's Common Language Runtime (CLR), enabling Synergy applications to run in the .NET environment and interoperate with applications written in other .NET languages. This project will also provide integration with Microsoft's Visual Studio, enabling Synergy developers to edit, build, run, and debug Synergy applications in Visual Studio. Synergy/DE support for .NET will enable customers to migrate their existing applications gradually to .NET, rather than requiring revolutionary code changes all at once. As a result, Synergy/DE ISVs can continue to preserve their Synergy investment.

New Platforms

Synergex will add support for new platforms that are being accepted in the industry. We will also support new versions of existing Synergy/DE platforms as they are released and commercially accepted.
