Training Policies

Payment

Payment may be made via company purchase order, check or credit card. The payment or the company purchase order must be received by Synergex prior to course attendance. If payment is by check or purchase order, your seat is considered confirmed whether or not the payment or purchase order has been received, and the cancellation policy below applies.

Cancellations

If you cancel a class reservation: If you cancel a class fourteen (14) calendar days or more prior to the first day of class, you are entitled to a full refund on any enrollment fees paid for that class. If you cancel a class between seven (7) and fourteen (14) calendar days or more prior to the first day of class, you are entitled to a 50% refund on any enrollment fees paid for that class. If you cancel or reschedule a class less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the first day of class, no refund of enrollment fees will be granted. You may send a qualified replacement in your place at no charge.

If Synergex cancels a class: Synergex reserves the right to cancel, change or reschedule classes at any time. Normally, Synergex will not cancel or reschedule a class less than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the first day of class. In the event of a cancellation, any payment applied to the canceled class may be refunded or applied towards a rescheduled class of your choice. If you choose to reschedule, you will be offered priority enrollment for any other class we offer.

Why Synergex cancels: In order to provide the most productive training environment, we limit our class sizes. Most classes have a maximum of 12 students. To handle demand for our most popular classes, we will often add classes to our schedule as the year progresses. Occasionally, this leads to low attendance in a class. While we will often teach classes with as few as four attendees, we do reserve the right to cancel classes with low enrollment.

Dress code

Business casual attire is the most appropriate for our classroom, so please dress comfortably.

Class Hours

Classes generally run for 7.5 hours per day, including an hour for lunch. We begin class at 9:00 am and end at 4:30 pm, allowing plenty of time for independent lab work after class. Students attending classes at our Gold River office may use the computer lab facilities at any time during normal office hours (7am-6pm).
