Based on XML, Web services range from major services such as customer relationship management (CRM), to more limited services, such as the checking of bids for an auction item. Using multiple vendors' Web services, one can simultaneously communicate with a vendor for the latest price of an item, submit an order, and track the order until it has been received.

With Synergy/DE, you can communicate with Web services by creating XML documents and sending them to the Web services via the Synergy HTTP document transport API.

You can also create Web services that execute Synergy methods, using the Microsoft .NET development environment to create the Web service and Synergy/DE xfServerPlus, in conjunction with the xfNetLink .NET client, to access the Synergy methods. Synergy/DE provides the tools you need to help you consume or provide XML Web services, so you can interact and integrate seamlessly with any vendor who has a Web service interface.
